Motorcraft carb jets
As anyone who has tried to find jets for a ford carberator knows, they are hard to find. I need smaller size jets, like a 45 or lower, because I'm putting a 2-bbl on my 6-cyl manifold with an adapter plate. I know you can drill jets out to go larger, and I've heard that you can solder up old jets and drill out the smaller size.
This sounds right to me, but what I want to know is if I can use JB-Weld instead of soldering because I think it would make it easier to drill and control the application?

#45's, those are pretty small. Couple of options, you could look for a Motorcraft carb. on an AMC 304, it had #47's or drill and tap out your Motorcraft carb. for Holley jets.
