Question

Striker plate replacement?

I just finished replacing the door latch and the window regulator on my driver's door and they are working well, but the striker plate on the driver's door is worn out and a little broke. How would I change this? I am guessing it is screwed straight in or that if I remove the grommet around it, there will be some screws holding it in? Never had to do one of these before, so help is appreciated. Thanks.

Striker plate replacement?

Are you talking about the post that stick out from the door frame? If so it is just screwed in. Grab the end with a pair of pliars and turn.
