mechanic/driver needed
Hello, my name is Byron. I represent Musical Charis and Blvd Park of Sacramento CA. We are a group of musicians going on tour this spring in a 1977 Ford B700 Carpenter bus. Our goal is to circum-navigate the US in two months to spread a message of peace, unity, and good old fun. We are looking for a driver/s who also knows ford fe blocks like the back of their hands. We have a driver from here to Austin TX. If we can't find someone to do the whole trip we could use someone who could do a leg or two. This is a grass roots effort meaning we have little money. I wish you luck with your tour but if you are short on cash what are going to do for parts ? And I myself if I were interested would want to make sure all things were in good working order before ever leaving. Changing gear lube in diff., Trans fuild, tune up, Brakes NEW, pressure test cooling, have some spare parts on hand. Being a 1977 what has the up keep been? Once again good luck and if you need a hand around Chicago area look me up.

the bus didn't make it. after getting her running we went to smog and failed. but we're still on tour and still in a ford. both bands bought vans. Blvd Park choose a 2008 Chevy express 2500. Musical Charis a Ford econoline 150 conversion van. we've been on the road for 40 days now and we're still going. our distributor control module died killing the front fuel pump> luckily we were in beeville texas where some drillers helped us get her back on the road. now we're in long beach,new york kicking it our homeys place. we're on our way to philly next. check us out www.thenewamericandreamtour.com
