Door Lock Help
I'm going to be fitting 1992 doors into my 1980 F100. The '92 doors have push/pull locks and a round lock cylinder. My '80 doors are slide locks with round lock cylinders. Can I re-use the '80 cylinders in the '92 doors? The '92 doors are from a JY; there is no key for them. Am I better off just getting new locks for the newer doors?

My LMC catalog shows the attachment lever on the back of the lock cylinder is different between 1980 and 1992. I dont know if the arm could be swapped but it should be easy to determine once it is removed and in your hand. BTW, a new door lock set for a 92 door with keys is about $60. Your call!
