I have a 05 F250 crew cab with bucket seats and the factory center console. It really bothers me that there are no cup holders in the back of the truck if the rear arm rest is up. I noticed that the Excursion center consoles of similar trim packages to my truck have cup holders on the rear of the consol for the back seats and radio controls on them. Has anyone swaped one of these consoles into a SD? If so, do the rear seats still fold down/up with the additional length of the console with the cup holders?

I did mine and there is no clearance issues with rear seats and the metal platform. Just make sure you get the correct color or close to. It's very useful.

You might be able to buy just the rear panel and replace it, maintaining the rest of the OEM console. I know this is the case with 2008+'s.
