leaf springs info 1996 f 350

We have a f 350 with a dump at my work I think its rated to haul 1 ton could we put a heavier set of springs on it? If we can will you please provide ideas and info. Thanks, Craig

Not sure but usually the springs on dump trucks are already heavyier unless the dump was added later in life. But I would go with a set of coil over shocks and go to a spring shop tell them the amount of wait u want to tow. But becarfull hear u can easily go to high and tow to mutch and itll lift the front end up on a rainey day u could end up in some bad spots and not be able to steer. I dont recamend makimg it so u can tow 6 yards of gravel just to save a trip thiers limits to thiese trucks thats y thiers small dump beds and wait restrctions
