Unhappy problems with my 2nd B2 help...!

okay got remanufactured engine... and a few hundred miles ago the engine starts to hesitate on acceleration... uphill and under load mainly, changed plugs, wires, cap, and rotor... got to canister type fuel filter and the filter was not there...my mechanic friend says now I need injectors to make my beautiful bronco stop bucking..it now is so bad I cannot even drive it! I seriously doubt its a cracked head..oil seems fine, I change it religiously...might it be a FPR or TFI ? BTW its a 2.9 with 35,000 miles on it please help if anyone knows .... thanks!

I would suggest you start by pulling any codes from the computer and doing a thorough fuel pressure test. Could be low pressure from dirty fuel filter or bad fuel pump, dirty air filter or throttle body.

check your arir charge temp sensor. also do you still have the cats on it? you may also want to test your o2 sensor. do a timing check on it and see if its off. i would also check all of my wiring. my bucks to but not bad at all. take your egr sensor (really a barometric sensor) off and replace it. if youd like autozones website tells ou how to test it.
