Could somebody enlighten me about the difference between what I assume is the standard 4x4 and the optional FX4 OFF ROAD package? Are there differences in the drivetrain or is it just the stickers? Is there any significant difference in price/value?
I have my original window sticker from my 06 the FX4 was 228 bucks and list skid plates below ,, it had fuel and transfer case plates and I think it had the lame Rancho's andit does have fx4 stickers
my limited slip is a whole other line item and was about 400$
not sure what other packages they had that included the skid plates ??

I guess that's why the detailer at the lot where I bought my truck painted the shocks black. Ha ha. pressure washer has em allmost white n red again.
mine is an '06 crew can King Ranch FX4. It has ESOF and self locking hubs. Not sure about the limited slip. Is there an easy way to tell?
Look at your drivers side door jamb and you will see the Mfg. sticker. Look at the axle code and it will say 3L which is a limited slip rear. P.S. everybody forgot to mention a steering stabilizer as another add on when ordering the FX-4 package.

You are correct sir . axle code is 3L. Are thes diffs clutch type arrangments or do you have to reverse or somthing to lock them?
