ive driven Honda trucks, yota trucks and my trusty ford, got to say the trusty ford (yes I can even say i drove the other two american brands) will still be around long after the yota and honda, which my friend already broke the yota engine or something ralated to it and the honda had to go in for service because something with the frame broke, some type of bracket on the frame holding the body in place i think...my ford is here and it may have bits of rust but its still kicking strong....
My F250, 8 years and 175,000 in the rustbelt. Some surface rust,no loss of strength. It runs like a million dollars. It still handles the heavy loads and bad roads. No squeaks,no rattles. I know what my next truck will be.
tell all your friends to go buy their toy yodas, and then come back in 15 years to see who's truck is still on the road and in better shape.
their toy yodas will have been melted down for reuse in foreign vehicles twice already while you are still driving your POS Ford.
you my friend took the words right out of my mouth. you see all these guys who drive there tundras or tacomas talkin so much trash, but you kno in a few years from now there toy will be in a junkyard somewhere.

And they would still be worth more in resale.......hell, search the JD Power site for ratings on trucks and you would be surprised.
I know....I wouldn't want to base my opinions off of "media"........
i worked in a auto shop for a while and i could identify a toyota on the lift just by the crappiest welds ive ever seen and the way the material (i call it material cuz i know it aint steel) was never straight or even symetrical.
