I have looked for a thread on this . I have 75 F-250 . The original 360 was turned in to a 416 . Edlebrock RPM ,RV cam ,heads and manifold ported ,etc.
The water neck is original .The thermostat from NAPA is about 3/8" too small .I tried one for a 75 dodge 318 ,it is a little too big .
I had a 180 I want to go a little bit hotter .
Is there an existing thread on this ?
Just take it back to napa and tell them they gave you the wrong size thermostat . If in any doubt take along the thermostat housing it goes in . I know NAPA can make screw ups from what they have sold me in the past .
Napa didn't screw up . Some of the waternecks had threads that a thermastat could be twisted into (I think ?) .
I can get my Dremel and whittle down the Dodge thermastat if I have to .
