new mpg method????

3.73's with factory 20's. 12 mpg is as good as it gets and no its not a lead foot. I have played with cruise on/off, speeds varying between 60-80. Black tail pipes at 4-5k miles, replaced the DPF, black pipes again 4-5k miles later. Still have black pipes today but since there are no codes the 2 dealers I have gone to just scratch their head and shrug their shoulders.
Sure there is something wrong with the fuel trims or something like that but I cant get them to look at anything beyond the stupid code scanner.
Just to demonstrate how hard both these dealers are trying.... I still have the flash that shows "cleaning exhaust filter" the entire time even though its been in the shop twice in the last 4 months. Must not be a code that tells them to update the most current flash. Complaining to the dealer about poor fuel mileage is about as useful as a poop flavored lollipop.
