If you're looking for a tow rig, what I've got in my sig is a great setup!! Hybrid injectors have come down in price, so maybe that's a better option. Going to single shot injectors will slightly improve your mileage, if you drive properly. At the very least, you'll get the same mileage with more power, which is always a plus.

I dyno'ed my truck last summer on my tow tune, 375hp/750tq. It pulls anything I have to haul on the farm, some loads as much as 20,000 lbs.

Definitely looking into a trans cooler and a valve body or shift kit. Keep that tranny cool!

Side note, you've had the truck 11 years and are just now wanting to "improve the performance"??!?!? I'll give you credit for having great restraint for not wanting to modify it until now!!

Tks for the info. I called riff Raff diesel this morning but since I'm on the east coast I had to leave a message. I have a western diesel chip in my truck but that's it for performance. I only began towing more recently so now I want it to be as good as it can be without spending a fortune. I'm looking to upgrade fuel, the turbo, air intake and exhaust. Would be cool to bake the 38" toyos too!
