The 7.3L powered Excursion has the beefed up "diesel" innards trans, and I THINK the V10 does too.

well every thing was going fine until we went to program the pats! aparrently the lightning pats is in the pcm and the excursion pats is in the instrument cluster so they were not getting along. No injector pulse!! Had lethal performance send me a tune with pats disabled. Hope to get her running this weekend.

After 9 days of work she is running like a champ. It sounds wicked
With the JLT intake kit on that eaton blower! I have Gibson headers
going thru a factory excursion cat and Gibson muffler so the quiet
exhaust adds to the blower whine. If I ever get a second at my home
computer I'll post pics and details.

Finally Done!!
The power is awesome. I have to get a few codes for evap, fuel level sensor, egr, and all downstream o2 heaters off to clear all the codes. Is it true that the ecm will be in a limp mode if the service engine light is on? I cant imagine if she gets stronger with the codes cleared? I have to get an appointment for custom tune in a couple of weeks for now im just glad to be thru working on it!!!!!!! The biggest pain was the wiring from the lightning harness thru the excursion body harness to the lightning ecm. Luckily I had a X-ford technician on hand that had been to svt training ect. Mechanically the engine fit easily and everything bolted up no issues. The pain was all the other stuff custom fitting. Heatexchanger, pump, overflow, air intake, modifying hood to clear, modify cowl to clear, cut off top of throttle are to clear, cut off shroud to clear front pully bracket ect.
Well worth it.
What is the easiest way to post pics on here?

Running great! I still need to go dyno tune it because I have a couple evaporate codes, erg code, and a fuel level code that I need deleted. I am dying to see what the rear wheel hp will be? JLT cold air kit, afco huge intercooler heat exchanger, and Sct livewire tune? Any ideas from the lightning gurus?
