1965 F100 Engine Swap

Hi everyone, I appologize in advance. My son has a 65 F100 with the 300/6. We have already removed it. Now we want to install the 302 with the C4 trans out of my 67 Mustang. Will it just drop in, do we need some kind of kit? Please help. Thank you in advance!

You want to get the frame perches and motor mounts from a mid 70's truck with a 302.

You will need to locate the perch. any 302 or 351M/400 Perch Is what you need.

Use stock truck 302 insulators.

You must also relocate the stock trans mount back a few inches. Just drill a new mounting hole in the lower rail.

Use a new C4 trans mount for a truck app.

and the Drive shaft/unirversal joints??

will they use the Truck stock one,(fits?), or the stock drive shaft will need to be re-sized and the universal joints replaced?

C4 from the stang will have a slip type Yolk where the Truck is a bolt on type.

Anytime a swap is preformed one has to anticipate drive shaft modifications.
