Lighting under Taunno cover

I was wondering what everyone with a taunno cover was doing as far as putting lights in the bed of their truck so they can actually see what's in there at night. I'd like to find something with a switch activated by the tailgate rather than one i have to turn on(and forget to turn off)!

Uh...wouldn't a rechargeable flashlight in the center console be a lot easier?

Just sayin'.

Take your pick from 5 different manufacturers:
Truck Bed Lights, Pickup Truck Bed Lighting, LED Truck Bed Light

I put a Jason fiberglass cover on my 2010 F150 scab. I ordered it with an LED light that has an on off switch. The light assembly was then wired to my truck's courtesy lights. Now when I want the light on, I simply press unlock on my key phobe and the light comes on. Kinda neat actually. BTW, thanks for your service, I did 26 with USAF. Good luck

I've always had campers so I put a couple of camper ceiling lights with switches on them on the inside of the box near the back where I could reach them from the ground, ran the wire to the trailer wire plug 12V wire so they go off with the key too.

I went to Meijer and bought $20 backup lights and wired them to my interior lights in my 2001 F250. I have yet to do it to my new truck but its on the list. Here are some pic of it in my F250.

You can do your own if you are so inclined. Got to Autozone and get some of the Waterproof LED strips for about $20 and some wire and wire them into the circuits for the interior lights. they are very bright low current draw and have good double sided tape so you can place them without drilling holes. Do a search for changing your reflectors on the front of mirrors
