injector problem 5.4l
i have a ford fx4 2005. J had an injector disorder last week. So I bring my truck to ford dealer as soon as possible. the mecanisien has been testing and he realized an injector was left open. he changed the part and then the problem starts. Now my engine knock (113 000 km). So he told me he had to do tests to determine whether to open the engine and dependant domage it might change the engine. so what the ...?? ford have extended warranty for damages to motor cause by a faulty injector.a warrenty of 8 year or 180 000 km ( i think ) So if it excites a warranty about this is because it s a common problem about this engine 5.4l ?? thanks

yes. ford have a extended warrenty for faulty injector than caus domage to your moteur... Paquin-ford at temiscaminque. gone a change the moteur in my fx4 2005 for nothing ... free ford rebuilt moteur and i don't pay the time of the *mecanicien*.it's all warranty. its good to know ( and its not only for the 2005 ! ) forget the (fortieth) i meant warranty sorry
I know someone who had the same problem as me. last year ! and ford pay all ...

Replaced injector and now truck is hammering
I have the problen and have not driven the truck since. I do'nt understand how the block could go w/this problem? When the initial problem started rough engine and hard start, the truck was parked ,other than diagnosing. I replaced the injector and .The truck fired up nice, with a loud as hell Hammerring noise. ??
