I have seen a lot of threads on here talking about headers but cant find one with EGR? My truck is a 99 f250 Super Duty with the 6.8 and it has a few exhaust studs broke so I was looking into getting some headers and I am finding very few with the EGR provision.. My question is who makes headers with the EGR Provision? I know gibson makes some but I was looking to see if I could find some a little cheaper..
hedman does not make their's with the EGR as far as I know.when I bought mine I was trippn becouse there was no bung for the tube attachment. So I called and they said these were only made for off-roading only and if they were modded to add the EGR it would void their warranty.I disconected all my EGR stuff without no effects to performance or loss in fuel mileage.and I bought my truck from SoCal.Also didnt notice that much of a change in exhaust richness smell at all either.this might though have an effect on your emission's though if you live where they smog you vehicle, but with a good tune from the dyno shop you could possibley get that taken care of.Hmmm?
good luck mate with your search and all.....Cheers!

If you search header on this forum you will find a lot of information. I am having the Gibson's installed next week. My situation was that the dealer was replacing the head, sells Gibson, and could install them for $642 out the door. Way more than I wanted to spend but it made sense with the head off already. My thread is "Sad V10 Owner".
