kris, i wasn't that mean, but i don't like being told redundant crap like i just joined the site and bought my first ford. so for futuer reference don't try to explain my own post's to me. i know an f-superduty from an f450, difference is years. i'm not dumb, i was trying to state that similar year trucks may have similar swappable boxes, and like i said, it was a hunch not fact. but to be named tecgod and give false info about TECH is a pretty dumb way to go about things. that'd be like me going by the name soberniceguydanwithajob.

Reason: the usual
i've been very close to the divorce part lately. new boss at work has been making the wife crazy, and being stuck indoors with two babies has been driving me crazy. made for a couple close calls with a lot of bad words spoken.
at the end of the day it would kill me inside to go through the big D, but it would set my *** straight and get me back on track. i'd rather be a screw up with a good family though.

Hi, was looking at steering box sector shafts post, the same thing happen on my son's 95psd,but he was in shop just turning steering wheel and shaft snapped just like the picture at 0mph.
i'm wrong all the time, i'll admit it, but i won't apologize for anything i said. the only conclusion i can see as to why i was wrong and got two part numbers is maybe one box i looked at might have been a 2x4 ranger box? did they did have a manual steering option? idk, but i'm not too concerned about it.

lucky for him. like i said i'm glad mine broke when and where it did, because with 9''s of lift and 38's i'm pretty sure i would have dies in a rollover if it broke on the highway.
