adding overload springs

I junkyarded a set of oem overload springs for my 99SD.

Can anyone tell me the correct torque for the U-bolt nuts?

Torque is somewhere around 150 ft-lbs. Torque them and check the torque after a bit of operation. The U-bolts will likely need to be tightened again.

v10 mpg

i just bought a 2008 ford f350 crew cab dually fx4, v-10 with 4.10 gears. researched to find mpg at 11-14. Purchased the truck and only getting 9.1 mpg. Something wrong? Will a programmer get more. Anyone running with a programmer? Please help!
