First Off. My Truck Is E99 Supercab LongBed 6SPEED, 158WB? Lifted With A 2" Or 4" Block In The Rear(Center Currier Shimmed, CC Bearing Was Also Replaced Couple Months Ago)
I Broke A Bolt On One Of The U-Joint Straps On The Rear Axle(Again...2nd Time) (Tore The Rear Piece Right Off) i was towing a vehicle up a incline in 4th gear(50-55MPH) about 10-14 PSI Boost. And It Broke And Shot The Driveshaft In The Freeway. (Everyone is fine, and no damage under the truck besides a nice mark on my gas tank)
my question is why do i keep snapping the bolts(getting tired of welding new ends on the tube and Balancing) Or What Kind Of MGR should i buy the strap kit from(was not more then 2 months old/5k miles) or should i go to a one piece shaft
i mostly do city driving, not much towing and average highway time. ideas will be considered.
i payed 200$ last time, im fine spending more money to get it right and not have to do it again. Ill Post A Picture Of It Soon
Give Tom Woods in Utah a call, or do a google search, he makes the best drive shaft's,and will help you solve your problem, we use them in our Jeeps, there the best. JMOP.
