yesterday my dad got a call from my sisters fience.
he went down a back road and lost control.
put his little chevy back end in a 6 foot ditch.
i took my 89 f-150 and dad grabbed the 98 expedition.
my truck had all the chains and straps in it and dad pulled the chevy out with the expedition.
we all about froze because it was in the open country with fields all around us.
just thought you guys would like to hear that a ford saved the day again.
Not that I'm a GM hater, but I've always wondered why you'd want to advertise your trucks as "Like a Rock"? Most of the rocks I know of don't get around much and sure as heck don't make any nice sounds.
i agree with you EARL.
those rocks sink fast and arent good for anthing, as far as i know.
i knew someone would of liked to hear that the ford is the top truck in my family.
i beat my dad to the truck but he pulled the trck cause i got a manual transmittion.
my first gear is made for real power.
the farmers know how to make a truck have *****.
but i knew someone would of liked ta har the news.
Just last Saturday night one of my neighbors decided to drive around in a parking lot that hadn't been plowed all winter. Way back in the back of the lot he managed to hang up his Dodge 150 4x4. He called my son for help. Another neighbor responded first with his 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 - drove right up to the Dodge and there she stopped.
My son arrived soon with his F250 4x4, hooked up and pulled both of them out. How's that for icing on the cake?? Both competitors in the same parking lot.
