I just looked at a '93 250. I was lookin for a late '80s early '90s. It's in beautiful shape. Body is great the bed great, it's lifted nice rims, tires, ect.. It has 200,000 miles on it they want 6995 for it. I have a 2001 Ranger 4x4 Xlt. I want bigger and older and I think they'll trade out right for it. Just trying to get advice, I mean the truck is in great shape whoever had before took great care of it. Its just the mileage that bugs me. Any suggestions?
Just to give you an idea. I just bought a 95 XLT flareside extended cab with 5.8 eng, 4x4 with 118k miles on it. the body has some rust in the normal places nothing major and the interior is excellent. over all the condition of the truck would be rated good. I gave 4,000.00 you ccan see the pics in my gallery. this ought to at least give you some comparison.
Here is another to compare with. I bought my '94 F250 XLT extended cab, longbed, 4x4 pickup for $5300.00. It has the EFI460 with a 5 speed tranny. 200,000 on the truck, 30,000 on a new motor. It was extremely well taken care of. The interior is like brand new. The exterior is almost as good with just a little paint fading. Picture is below in my sig.
A deal is only as good as you think it is. I think I got a good deal, therefore it was.
