Anyone else have a huge amount of wind/air noise in the cab of their truck. It sounds like the sound is at about cowl level bottom of window area. I can't feel a lot of air coming into the cab but noise is extremely loud. There is less noise with the window down about 3in, but tooo dang cold to ride around with it down.
Is it a wind whistling noise? I know that the windshields can be noisy if they aren't sealed well enough. I ran a
bead of silicone around the back of my rubber seal (on the outside) and that cured it.Maybe the windshield rubber
has a crack in it somewhere?
A suggestion on how to narrow it down, we used to run painters tape around the outside of where we though it was coming from and drove it to see if it helped. Another thing try folding in your mirrors or removing them temporally and driving it and see if it is better. I also put those window vents on my old Ranger and it made a big difference.
Had the same prob! but mine was coming from the lower vent, had to reseal the vent!
Plus, I also had the passenger door adjusted out a little too much at the top!
Hope this helps?
I put some insulation under the headliner and in the doors....helped quite a bit with outside noise. Won't help too much with windshield noise, I guess. Insulation under the new floor mat/liner also helped quiet the cab a bit.

We are cold & rainey today, I might give the tape thing a try Sunday.
A lot of air was blowing in the closed vent door so it has duct tape over it.
The mirror is stock issue for 66 so no folding available.
Windshield rubber is not very old, not saying it isn't the culprit.
Doesn't seem to be any difference in the noise at 60 or at 90, but I don't have a DB meter.
Or turn the radio up . But I like for people to hear the sirens of emergency vehicles it makes my job less stressful if they get out of the way. Cause I get in trouble if I run em over. LOL

Here's my .02. I think a loud stereo is way more dangers than even a drunk driver. A deft or hard of hearing person has trained themselves to hear with there other senses. I don't believe ya would ever have a problem with them if ya have your emergence lights on.
But a person with there music cranked that the bass can be heard a half block away has little or no idea of what is around him. He can't hear a horn or siren or someone yelling at him as he backs over a kid in a parking lot. All his senses are tuned to the loud music. It's just stupid.
I agree arctic y block. What I have found out is, it is not that people don't hear the sirens or see the lights, it is they don't care. Its not there emergency. And I step down from my soapbox I believe I have said to much I apologize.
