Oh wow i didnt know they built whole trannys. Im lovin their tc and valve bodys but didnt know they had entire trannys. Thanks darin i'll look into them, i appreciate it. If their trannys are as good as their tc that everyone talks about its definetly worth a call and a looksy.

 

RacerX makes stage builds, So you tell them what hp you are lookin for and they will build you a tranny that should be able to hold that. Either way you go will be good...

yea my grandpas old f350 cc psd had a 5 speed and loved it and my cousins old 6.9 with a 5 speed and 6 in stacks and loved the way it sounded shifting and just grabbing gears.

you can do it for a grand or so, just find what you need if you wanna go that way ther is 3 of us that have just did the swap and we can get you a list of what you need, bout to start on my 93 cc lb drw, its getting a zf5 and thinkiing a sd moter in place of idi or throw my ats on it for now, black beast may be 4 sale

 

well if u go with the sd motor y not the zf6? and ok wow only a thousand or so bucks that would be freaking awesome. do u have an ats turbo for ur idi that u havent thrown on there or ats tranny, either would be freakin awesome. what the black beast for sale but u've put so much work into it.

 

yeah i have a idi moter setting now with an ats turbo set up and fresh rebuild on it, was thinking on useing it in my 79 ford though, thought about the 6 speed, but the 5 is a lot easey from what i have got,got a lot of goodies laying, have a 97 ps,moter and a 2000 sd moter setting, not sure on my old black girl, i want same truck but a long bed, had an offer and if it works ill get the truck i want - the lift a year newer and still have 5 grand

 

Wow it sounds like u really have ur hands full with another project. and u r one lucky sob, r u saying ur getting ur axact same truck just a longbed f350? probably minus a few mods plus 5k cash left over wtf? where can i get this kinda deal? haha well good luck on the project and possible new truck.

 

There was a 93 idi F350 4x4 5 spd. for sale on craigslist here a couple days ago for 1300 obo, or parting out if didn't sell. 300 bucks for the d60, couple hundred for the 5 spd. It has been wrecked, but still driveable. If I would have had some extra cash laying around I'd have that truck. Come up and get it blake!
