Pay taxes and die comes to mind. And inbetween paying taxes and dying, I love a good 12" to 18" snow..... late in the afternoon and night. There is nothing more relaxing in the world than going late at night in a heavy snow and listening to the silence as you drive around. There's a special silence that's hard to describe during a major snowfall. Plus, all the idiots in front wheel drive and rear wheel drive have gotten off the road and gone home or abandoned their cars already.

Snow deadens sound. I really experience when I take the snowmobile a couple miles out and shut it down.
Y'all in Chicago got it bad (21"). Now, imagine 14" without snowplows (here in Tulsa). The Excursion was one of the few able to move on Tuesday evening.
