New Prosperity Independent? Who would have guessed? I don't agree with the fact that, according to the "comments" section, I am supposed to be highly satisfied with the way things are going in the country. I would say quite the opposite, and I am definitely dissatisfied with the way things (in general, nothing specific) are going. Do you Staunch Conservatives agree that morality and taxes are your main concerns? Do you agree mostly with the outcome on your test?

What ever happened to the old classifications:

Conservative = against change, keep things the way they are, the "old boys" society, leave well enough alone.

Liberal = for progress and change, old habits die young, keep up with the times.

Each party had Conservatives and Liberals. Now, it seems to me, all I hear is Conservatives are Republicans and Liberals are Democrats.

If Conservatives of old had had their way, we would still be on horse and buggy, watching Communism dominate the world. When did the meanings change?

What is Your Typology

Another "New Prosperity Independent" here...though, like Tim, I don't agree with their little description. I'm not happy with the way things are going, education isn't one of my high priorities (taxes are more important), and I most certainly did NOT approve of Clinton. Of course, I don't approve of any politicians, so that shouldn't come as a big surprise.

I think the website just didn't know what group worked best for my views - so it just threw me into one of the 'independent' classifications.

EE, actually I thought that the New Propsperity Independents fit you best out of all the choices. After reading many of your posts, your writings sound educated and well thought out regarding politics. You seem to be very "Politically Knowledgeable", but yet you're NOT registed and do NOT vote.

What I don't understand is why you stay so up on politics?? You voice your opinion very well, but not where it really counts - like at the Polls?

Myself, the "Libral Democrats" fits me best. It's off in that I'm not sympathetic of any group to the poor nor am I highly supportive of the women's movement. Of course, I don't think any man, woman or court should have the right to decide what I do with my body and I don't think expecting equal pay for equal work is part of any movement.
