hm im not sure how to plug this up or what it looked like before it was broken off. the hose that goes from the oil neck goes into the rubber intake tubing. im assuming there is a male piece that was supposed to be coming off of my intake tubing, because it is just a hole now. even though this hose is about 16 inches past the MAF, i think too much air is being sucked up that isnt being measured by the maf

My truck has the PCV vent hose going into the air filter housing. I am not sure what yours looks like.

Perhaps the elbow is the same?

the only thing goes into my air box is a twist lock thing with a wire that connects to the maf. the hole in my intake tubing is further down about halfway to the throttle body, ill take a pic.

i just want to follow up since when searching for this code, no one ever found a resolution.

anyway i had cracks in the tube going in my air recirculation thing, i replaced that 3/32" hose.

also replaced my o2 sensor, which was a pain to get out.

no more check engine light, and my gas mileage seems to have doubled. im sure its not that drastic but without a doubt it helped.
