I'm looking to swap some racing seats into my 85 F 250. I'll just be using some summit ones to do this. My question is what do i mount the seats to so I can slid them. I know that they have tracks they sell for this but it looks like i'd have to fab some brackets to mount them so the floor because its flat. Could use the tracks from orginal bucket seats for this?

You can probably mount the new seats on the original tracks. Depends on your "engineering" ability, and how much different they are. If the seats won't fit reasonalby, you could make some adapter plates to allow them to be used.
I installed 85 Tbird electric seats on my 54 F100, but I had to make some brackets, and drill some new holes in the floor. Your task should be much easier.
