Running Board Supports
Have a 2003 Supercab F-150. Dinged up my passenger side running board in a snow strom recently but only really broke the supports. Unfortunately, the boards are only sold as a set...no separate brackets or parts. Need 2 fordcast 742C2 brackets but can't find them anywhere. Any ideas?

I broke one of mine driving over what I thought was soft snow. It turned out to be ice and when I came over it, my running board came down hard on it and broke the support cleanly in two pieces. They can be welded back together by the right guy with the right gear. Luckily I was able to get it fixed by one of the welders where I work. Aside from the heavy bead of weld, it looks fine and is as strong as ever.
