Slip yoke play?
My 2005 SuperCab FX4 has been plagued with the "slip-yoke bump" since a li'l over 8k miles on the ODO. I had the TSB done at the dealer once, and did it again myself after the warranty was out.
Now, at about 65k miles, I have this wierd grabbing/sticking brake feeling going on after starting off from a moderate stop. There will be a "bump" felt/heard when starting off too.
So under the truck I go ... nothing obviosly wrong with the brakes, but I did notice quite a bit of "play" in the 'ole slip yoke joint. I mean, it sort'a feels "wallowed" out.
Anybody else?? Reck'on I'm in for a complete shaft?
