Headers

74 F100 2WD, the motor is out and i am thinking about going with headers, should i lay them in place and set the motor or will they slide in place from under the truck when motor is installed? Thank you.

I'd suggest you go to the website for the manufacturer of the headers you want to use. They will have detailed instructions for your motor/header combo.

I second hp246. But I've always layed headers in place, then set engine in. Sometimes it's a little tricky to get the starter in, so be sure and check clearances as you go. Maby you can strap the starter in that general area as you put the engine in. good luck
