It's a great option and I've used. I also believe that Costco has a great buying plan. If your a savvy negotiator, you can get real close if not actually beat X-plan pricing.
Dealer will want you to wait 4 months to pay the truck off, so they get their $100 (sometimes more) for the referral to FMC. Dealer's people were good to me and I'm happy to oblige. I'll pay all but $30, then $10, $10, $10 to pay it off.
Ford's finance rates are high, but the $1,000 is nice.
