A couple months ago my A/C just quit working out of the blue. It never skipped a beat until 1 day it just decided it didn't want to work any more. The weather got colder so I didn't really think about it any more until today (it's 75* here right now)!
With the truck running and the A/C on I disconnected the plug on the A/C clutch and put my test light on it. I didn't get any current coming from either wire (I believe there are 2?). I read on another forum about jumping the pressure switch to test for a faulty switch. I jumped the 2 wires with a paper clip and still got no power to the clutch. All fuses/relays tied to the A/C system are OK. I had my Freon checked a couple weeks before this happened and the level was just right so I know it's not low. The switch in the dashboard is fine I'm sure. I'm at my wits end on this one. Any insight would be great.
