My dad has a 1990 Ranger 2.9L that we are having issues with the spark. What happened was he turned a corner and then all of a sudden it was like you shut off the ignition switch. It turns over fine but doesn't start. It didn't give off any spark even at the coil so he went and bought a new coil. But there still isn't any spark.
He hasn't noticed any problems before this happening does any body have any suggestions Thanks
We called a family mechanic and he made a few suggestions and they worked.
My dad ended up getting a ignition module and like a ignition relay or switch of some sort. He had to pull the distributor in order to switch these I guess.
