Can anyone identify this car

I know its not a truck. But I do know that thousands of auto experts are on here. Can anyone help identify what kind of car this is and approx year? Thanks for any help!!

that looks like a two door sports car instead of a larger car like the buick. A first gen talon comes to mind or a mitsubishy eclipse...

The tail lights match that Buick pretty good!

It's definitely a 2 door coupe. From a snap glance I almost said a late 90's poonstang. But I don't think so.

I was in LONG RANGE RECON in the service and one of our disciplines was being able to ID warsaw pact vehicles from images of only parts of a vehicle from long distance so I fancy myself pretty good at ID'ing cars but this image is like the cars today...pretty generic.

It has a spoiler on the deck lid. Look at the right rear corner you can see it wrapping around. I almost want to say an 80's model Dodge Challenger. It appears to have an old style spoiler on it, one that is just affixed to the deck lid with no gap between them

Not sure about the Century. The license plate hole is square on the Century. In the mystery photo the hole sure looks like a trapezoid. Did it change from year to year?

Buick looks pretty good. I was thinking Cadillac, but it has only one exhaust cutout in the bumper and I think all Cadillacs had a cutout on each side.

Camry???

By Jove! I believe you are right! It is a 4 door. I still don't think it is a century though since I have one and the one in the pic looks close but the overall line is different. Could be the picture quality too. What made me think it was 2 door is the drivers window being down. It makes the back window ( rear door ) look almost like an abbreviated one.

I have to grudgingly agree though since it doesn't look like anything else. Perhaps a Pontiac of some sort?

looks like right below the spoiler there are some letters there. almost like eagle or talon on the back 5 or 6 letter word. Its a 2 door the other door you see its a quarter glass like bout what a mustang or escort or something similar like that has. An on the back were the license plate goes there are 2 wires hanging out an looks like it has a hitch on it with the cover off. It has sport mirrors with the clear lenses at the taillights an a solid roof no sunroof with a factory exhaust on the right side only. An it has a 3rd brake light in the back glass. It is not a Buick though. Looks like a mid 80's to early 90's vehicle. An why do you need to identify this car for?

I've been looking as I go down the road and the car that comes closest, in my mind, is a Cadillac STS. I caught a rear view of one and the shape of the deck lid and spoiler is very similar esp. given the picture quality. All the Pontiacs I've seen have the license plates below the tail lights, not even with them as here, most Camry's do as well. An STS fits also with the angularity in the picture.
