I have a 1960's 390 motor in my 1975 High Boy, I was told the numbers underneath the oil filter adaptor can tell date of manufacture of the engine block, is this true? I far as I can tell my numbers are--8CZ9-- does this make sense to anyone? Can you tell me how to decode it? Thanks for your help!!...........390man
Thank you very much PWard 76 for your help on this, I always wondered what year it was for sure. They always say when you learn something new everyday your day isn't wasted!!! Thanks again.......390man........
