I am really wanting to go on this year's Xpedition Expedition....
Is anyone here going? I know someone here that is already going, anyone else?
I am missing the tow hooks that are required though, and skid plates.... .....when there is a will there is a way...LOL
I am really looking foward to it.
And if anyone had any advice about the tow hooks and skid plates, it is welcome!!!
Shari, I will be there if I dont blow up on the way. Do you need front or rear tow hooks? Front are the loops and the rear could be a frame monted hitch. It just has to be a rear tow point. The fronts you could get at any auto parts store. As far as the skid plates I had the same trouble. The ONLY option for this is a STEALERSHIP to the tune of about $300.00 with all the mounting bolts and nuts. The gas tank plate is rather large and heavy and of course the most expensive about $160.00. I have not put them on yet but it looks a little involved I will have to plan a day to do it. But for now I have to work on my exploding spark plug issue (see my post about it). I will let you know how hard the install is of the plates.

Try this site, maybe there's a yard near you that's got the parts. Be sure to request they also include all the nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc.,all the fasteners. http://www.car-part.com/ if that doesn't work try parts.com/ instead of part.com/

Thanks guys, I apprieciate your replies..
1999xlt....I really hope your problem gets solved! Especially before May!!
I need the front tow hooks, I can get those easy enough, but the skid plates are another story, I'm afraid I won't be able to afford those by May
I will shop around to hopefully get them at a nice price, I will try the sites that 2003EXPY gave me also..
And again thank you guys!!
