Hi just putting my engine back together and I dont like how this turbo mounts up against the fire wall thinking about extending the exhaust and snorkel forward towards the center of the engine and just making new support brackets, whoever designed this needs to work on one once and then tell everyone how brillant they are! anyone know why it can't be moved??? ThankYou for your time.

 

Well, you need to extend the exhaust up and down pipes, the turbo oil supply and drain and rework the air cleaner to turbo and the charge airfrom the turbo to the intake manifold.

Changed my injectors and return lines along with installed new glow plugs 4 years ago.
I may check the glow plugs this summer and might replace the injectors.

I can deal with the #7 glow plug once every five years, which is the only real pain with the ATS 093 system.
I guess it could be different if you are running a different turbo.

 

GP's aren't bad on the Banks system. Only the back pass. side one you have to move the GP relay to get to it.
