Corecting My Speedometer
I need to know how to fix my speedometer in my 2003 F 150, Is it a mechanical speedo or is it electric? I have 40x13.50r17s on it so the speedo is off really bad and it gets worse the faster I go. Any info would be great thanks!

Your speedometor is a pulsed analog display.
The pulses come out of the PCM and are determined by a data word in the ID block for the trucks original build.
Only way is to use an external tuner that has the ability to access and change data in this software block.
