You are in the wrong forum (or even website). This forum is for 2009-on-up F-150 pickups, and last I checked, NONE of them were available with top-loader 4-speed trannies. Try to find the correct forum or website. You're in the wrong spot.

Thread moved to the Transmission forum. You might also want to ask in the 1964 or 1965 years-specific truck forum, because those parts numbers are '64 and '65 (and up) part numbers.

It's a HEF CW..., from a 289 Mustang. Had one myself. Good shifting trans with a Hurst shifter on it.

Very good advice, which I've used quite often. By being open-minded, I've always sought out the CORRECT source for my info. Putting your post where you did is NOT an example of being open-minded. All I did was correct a misdirection. Can you be open-minded enough to handle that?
