Pwr Windows.

I saw this post and it has me very very interested.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ing-parts.html

But has anyone done this pwr window mod with pic's?

Or how about a good write up. I am planning to do cheap stuff to my truck while I am stuck at home unemployed, and this looks like a cheap way to get pwr windows.

How about power locks?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Buheller?

Kevin got the idea from one of the guys at slick60s.

He should have some build pictures. PM him and ask for details.

I have the PDF file somewhere on modifying them, But cant find it.

I found the slick 60's version. For some reason it does not come up on google searches. Maybe next time I should try lougal.

Now I need to figure a way to wire it up with cool looking junkyard switches.

Does anyone know if the Saturn window motor solution will also work with a 1965 f100?

Thanks, might be heading to the junk yard this weekend....

I put one of these kits in "Gator Getter" (65 f100). Bolts in and works great. Good price and you can order the wiring kit and switches also.

I am also wondering what type of switches should I go for?

I wanna do a junk yard swap as I am broke. So I just wanna find some decent chrome looking switches.

I discovered the Saturn window motors because I wanted the challenge of building these instead of buying some already done. I spent some time in the junkyards until I found motors that would work.
purpleflyingmonkey did a great job on the write up for the install.
Make sure that you tilt the motors towards the front at a slight angle or else they hit the divider bar. If you angle them to much they hit the spring on the bottom of the wing window, unless you do like unibodyslick and do one piece windows.
I will see if I can find my wiring diagram for my switches. I used after market switches but they should wire similar.
