...and the 1987 - 1991 "pin hole" cowl is a direct replacement for the 1980 - 1986 "slotted" cowl. Even though it will still fit, the 1992 - 1996 cowl is slightly different.
Yes, thank you for the dates! I had forgotten the exact years, I knew that info about two
years ago when I got one of those pinhole things for my own truck.

Shaun, I'm assuming that's an 87-91 panel, correct? If Lariat's dates are correct (and I
assume they are) the 92-96 ones will fit BUT they don't have the raised (lowered)
dual-height crease that matches up to the crease in the hood. Also, the wiper fluid
sprayers are different, there are two with one located on each side instead of one in the
middle with two jets.

Yes, my panel is from an 88. And Lariat has the dates correct, as do you with the 92-96 panel description.
Anafiel, the antenna wire just pulls out from the antenna base.
I pulled out the screws today and the wipers. First time removing the entire assembly it took my about 20 minutes but none the less it was a learning experience. After that I need to open the hood, pull the antenna cable, un screw some fasteners, and then pull it off and go to work? What would you guys suggest for an approximate angle for the hood to pull the cowl off?

Honestly, I scratched the hell out of my cowl panel when I left the hood on. What you can do though is loosen up the bolts on the hood hinges. When you do that, pull the hood up towards the sky, and then re-tighten the bolts. This gains you a little bit of wiggle room. Just be sure to take a marker or scribe and mark exactly where the hinges sat because re-aligning the hood is a pain.
As for the screws, there's about 8 or so on the front of the cow panel, and about 3 or 4 on top. The screws on top are hard to see, you have to get up above the truck to see them. Make sure you get these out or else you're gonna damage the thin mounting brackets. When you pull the antenna cable, if it doesn't come out with a direct pull, twist it to loosen it up and then try again.
Maybe I just keep getting lucky but I never had any issues with scratching the cowl or the hood. But if your not sure if you can get it off with scratching it it probably wouldnt be a bad idea to remove the hood.

There's a possibility my hood is messed up, as I can never get it to align right. And it sits kinda high in the center as if it's bowed. May or may not be my problem.
