New stall/stutter issue.
I've been having troubles with the truck recently. This time though, there's no Check Engine Light coming on.
The truck just stalls. However, sometimes it sputters and doesn't stall. It generally stalls at low RPM and stutters at mid RPM. If I step on the go pedal and turn the engine over, it will start (after stalling). (I'm not sure I have to step on the pedal to start it back up all the time) Sometimes it stalls again, but most of the time is stays running. Sometimes it will run for a minute. Other times it runs for 10 minutes with no issue. I think the more I'm at low RPM, the more the issue arises. (probably just coincidence)
This new probably just started happening today.

Should I just throw a rebuilt IDM in and see if that fixes it, or is there something better I can do instead of shotgunning parts at this?

sounds like a fuel supply issue! did you check the filter. How old is the IP and injectors? How old is the fuel return system? And finally where was you last fill-up? Oh and one more thing, how cold is it?
