Starter question?
I have been having problms with my starter first it wouldnt turn my motor over n it would make a loud grinding sound...now I just changed my starter 3 days agp and now I think my starter broke again cause now it just makes a winding noise of the gear spinning but never turns on the truck

Have you looked at the teeth on the flywheel ring gear? It sounds to me like you may have a bad ring gear. You'll have to pull the starter out and look through the hole that the starter mounts in. You should be able to see if the teeth look severely worn or broken.

I'd also use a breaker bar to turn your motor over so that you can inspect all the teeth. Have someone help you, have them turn the motor over while you are looking at the teeth. Cuz if you dont, you will only be able to see about 1/10 of the teeth, and those might look fine, but somewhere else on the flywheel might be bad...
