I checked the CARB web sight and the DP Tuners are accepted on the CARB list, although I would recommend stock setting for no smoke, smoke is what they are looking for. Boost anhelators are not legal. 6637 filters are, larger exhaust is as long as you have your cat if it is a cat equipped originally.

Last I checked DP was on the approved list. This was a year ago but was good till I beleve April or May of this year. I will have to find it again so I can go in armed. Will post my findings.

Hey Terry, do you know the name of that shop I live about twenty minutes from there. if you use them to smog your truck could you post how they are and what was ok to leave on the truck to pass. mines due in june 476.00 for a 2001 truck its crazy,my fathers 2010 is 45.00 a year in Oklahoma. thank you

Mine was $40 in Louisiana and its due every 4 years, i have a state inspection due every yearly that is $15. I had to change my windshield because of a crack that was $200 but needed to be changed anyway. When I lived in Fairfield there was a guy that did smog’s that did not care he did my Tahoe that had duels on it and only stuck the meter in one pipe. I went back to Cali last July for a week and realized real fast why I left. Good luck with everything

DP tuner was removed from the list once. They mit be back on again. They were off when I did mine but they told me they were not failing because of tuners yet because there was so many on the list. I'll see in two years. Good luck, Chet

Whats bs is the weight fee, for me it was $154 weight fee plus registration which was $104. $268 for nonsense. I went to my buddies house in Az and registered it there and paid $68 for the year. I go every summer to visit him so I plan my trips around the expiration date. They passed it in AZ with the dp tuner, no cat, ccv mod. If it were about emissions they shouldnt care if I run my truck off of cow shizzle with no exhaust as long as I pass emission. This state blows, except for the coast, mountains and....well thats about it the rest sux azz!
