1975 NP435 tranny problems need help
hey guys im rebuilding a 1975 ford f100 4x4 swb 360 np435, but when i set the new motor and tranny and t-case in motor runs like a champ, but took it for a test drive 2nd gear doesnt reach all the way in, and then when 3rd is in to come to a stop to down shift even with clutch pressed 3rd stays stuck please info need ASAP.

Did you by chance change the shifter stick? There a couple different lengths and the shorter one will do what you are describing.
Other than that you may need to pull the top cover and align everything and try again. Also pay attention to nylon covers on the forks, they crap out and make everything a biotch.
