Convert 2WD to 4WD

I've got a question maybe somebody would like to answer. I've got a 94' F150 XLT 2WD. I've got a chance to buy some early 80s F150 4WD parts in excellant condition for next to nothing (front diff , axles , hubs , rotors , springs) Pretty much everything but the tranny and transfer case. Will this stuff bolt onto my 94' with out any serious modifications? has anyone here done it? Any help or ideas would be great!

From the way the TTB is set up it looks like you can just bolt the 4WD parts right in place of the 2WD stuff. The mounting bracket for the left side axle housing may be a little differen't between 2 and 4 wheel drive. I am pretty sure there has to be someone on this site that has tried it who can help you as well.

Yes the 2wd and 4wd frames are the same 80-later F150. I had a 94 I converted with a 86 donor truck. The rear spring hangers are 2 1/2" wide on 2wd and 3" on 4wd. Use the brake calipers from the 80's axles with the 94 hoses. It took about 2 hours to install the front axle and rear lift blocks.

Thanks for the info! It really doesn't sound like it's a hard project if you have all the parts.
