Hi All,
Okay, so if you will think back to a couple of weeks ago, I posted about this '96 Bronco that came with a sad story. I asked for opinions and advice and was well rewarded. Thank you especially Encho, for pointing out some mechanical aspects I had not considered. I checked everything in your reply. Thanks also to greystreak92 for keeping me grounded, I still don't know how you manage to answer all the threads that you do, but I am surely greatful. and thanks to Mauch1 for info on pricing, it really helped. So I am now the proud owner of (sort of) a '96 full size EB teal and tan Bronco! It has 114,225 miles, interior in great shape, engine compartment clean as a whistle, everything as far as I can tell works, lights, horn, A/C, windows. Steering and condon joints tight. U-joints tight. No noise in 4 wheel drive forward or backward, warn manual hubs, optima battery. Okay enough. The asking price was $5895. I offered $5200, and they took it! It does have an oil leak that looks like it is coming from the valve covers but I am not alarmed. Body and paint are great. It has a couple of small dents but I think most of them will come out without bondo. No rust! Just wanted to give everyone an update and to say THANKS FOR THE HELP! I will post pics when I get a camera and get it home! Now I have two Broncos! Whoo Hooo! Mark
