Yes, vent window in and secured first,then divider strip, then channel across the top and down the back edge, then the fuzzies at the bottom edge of door glass, then big window. Then I broke my big windows and now they're on back-order.

Hey carnut i have new smoked door glass and matching ventwindow already restored like new.Also anti rattle kit plus handles for vent and door glass. I went with the one peice glass so i don't need it.

Arrowhead, thanks for the offer, but I have a 53. Are you about done with your truck? I put on both radiator hoses and the serpentine belt this evening(5.0 SBF and non-stock radiator). If it gets done before August that's Ok with me.

53 carpet
OK THEN I also have a black carpet kit from classic haulers . They sent me the wrong one for my 51 and didn't ask for the 53 carpet back so its yours if ya need it. send me a pm.

I installed new glass & runners almost two months ago. I put the division bar in first but didn't install the screws, then I put the vent in followed by the door glass and slid it all the way up lastly I put the door mechnism back in then ligned everything up and tightened.

Moe, I suspect Fred still has the window glass. It won't work on my 53. I bought carpet from Fred and it arrived as described(besides, he made m an offer I couldn't refuse). Why don't you PM him about it?
