Rails and Bar?

Rails and Bar?
At work the other day i found a set of stainless bed rails off a newer short bed pickup. Since i have a long bed, they do not fit. The ends pull off and I could find a longer piece of tubing to put in the middle to make them fit, and paint them black or something. But my question is, would they look good with the roll bar I have in the bed? Is it worth the hassle? or should i just throw them up on craigslist?

This sounds like a matter of personal preference. ANYTHING looks good, as long as you believe it does. 
If I'm envisioning this properly, it sounds it has the potential to look good if you modify it correctly.
